1. Licence
The PDF Tech and Read Files Tech apps are released under the Apache License 2.0. The full text is available in each GitHub repository and shipped with every APK.
Pass Tech is in private distribution — contact us for terms.
2. No warranty
The apps are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. You use them at your own risk. The authors cannot be held liable for any data loss, malfunction, or any direct or indirect damage arising from use of the apps.
3. Back up your data
Files Tech stores no copy of your files. Make regular backups. In particular for Pass Tech: regularly export your encrypted vault and keep it in a safe place.
4. Intellectual property
The source code is open (Apache 2.0) — you may use, modify and redistribute it under the licence terms. The name "Files Tech", logos and graphic elements of this site remain the property of the author.
5. Financial support (the "Support" page)
Files Tech offers, via the Support page, the option to make a free-will payment by credit card. This payment is:
- voluntary and without reward;
- processed by Mollie B.V. (Amsterdam, Netherlands) — Files Tech has no access to any banking data;
- non-refundable save for manifest error (wrong amount, double charge); any request must be sent to contact@files-tech.com within 14 days;
- declared as revenue of the sole-trader business — it does not entitle to a tax deduction (Files Tech is not a charity within the meaning of art. 200 of the French General Tax Code).
No account creation, no information other than the amount and an optional email (for the thank-you receipt) is requested.
6. Changes
These terms may evolve. The most recent version prevails and is always accessible at this URL.
7. Applicable law
French law. Competent courts: those of the defendant's domicile.
